When visiting Leeds Docks, you must experience the free water taxi! Not only making the journey between Granary Wharf and Leeds Docks an easy one, you’ll get to see the city like never before, from the wonderful waterways.
As you float leisurely down the river, you’ll pass a variety of fantastic sites, from classic architecture and historic locations to modern developments and interesting art installations.
There are two water taxis that run every 15 minutes, although you can keep up to date live with Leeds Dock water taxi timetable updates from the Twitter account @LeedsWaterTaxis. Best of all, use of the water taxis is completely free so there’s
no excuse not to spend 10-15 minutes making this lovely journey.
Seating is available inside and out on the water taxi, so you don’t need to worry about being damp on a rainy day and comfortably seats 12 passengers so you and the family can travel in style. Keep an eye out for the yellow boat with water
taxi on the back.
